Cockatiel fell in her cage and since has he balance issues. She shows no signs of broken bones, loss of grip, or pain.

She is eating drinking playing as normal she just struggled to climb the cage and perch herself. And walking on the bottom of the cage she stumbles. I’m going tomorrow to the vet but atm I just want some advice to what you guys here might think it could be?

Just line the cage with soft towels, lower the perches, keep her warm and quiet, it could be anything,,,even low calcium can cause this behavior, hope shes ok!:hug8:

Age? Is she allowed to free roam in the house? What’s her current diet?

ive woke to her being worse. She seems from a quick web search to showing signs of Ataxia. Which would make sense since she fell and could’ve possibly injured her spine.

From looking around this looks as it isn’t a cureable thing.

Please take her to the vet before making any decisions. I have a bird with a severe head/spinal cord injury who went from being completely paralyzed to almost completely normal in terms of mobility over a course of months. But her condition is very serious and needs emergency treatment or she will not survive. It could be an injury or it could be something like poisoning.
