Choking, hiccups or sick?

I’m in a bit of a panic. It’s in the middle of the night and my parakeet: Lydia started making this coughing/sneezing/hiccup? Soft, squeaky sound. I turned on my flashlight to examine her and she kept acting like she was trying to cough something up. She eventually stopped and hasn’t since made the sound again. Is this normal? Was she coughing? Hiccuping? Did she choke briefly? Is this emergency vet worthy or should I wait until morning? Why does something always happen to my birds at night, on the weekends?

This makes me nuts both when it happens to me or my pets.

I don't generally like to do things with birds in the middle of the night , especially if it's not an Avian veterinarian emergency doc ...

I'd put a very dim night light near cage

But I can't say what I think this could be
