Hey y'all,
My babies grew up!! but quick question, babies are now close to 2 months of age and the mama is attacking Rios feet only but NOT Piccolo??? Is there a reason why? I see Rio lonely and the mama doesn't really want him near her.
Any advice, explaination or suggestions are very much appreciated it :)

Is Rio a boy and Piccolo a girl? Just thinking maybe that might have something to do with it

I don't know yet but I assumed that as well but wasn't sure. If that is the case, I would have to separate them huh? Who should I separate? The mom alone and the 2 kiddos together or vise versa?

At 8 weeks old, the youngsters should be housed separately now away from their parents.

Great!! Thank you!! question, What's reason for the separation? Will the mom get aggressive towards them?

I think normally the parents would start to breed again but as you don’t have her partner (if I remember right he sadly died and mum raised them herself?)
anymore that’s not going to happen hopefully that’s right @Zara
Also it’s just natural that they would leave the parents once the parents stopped feeding plus if the mums being aggressive I would definitely separate and if the siblings are bonded house them together mum can still spend time with them outside of cage
