Advice wanted

Hey guys!
So far our baby Luna has been a blessing to our family. We love her very much. However since she came home, her sleeping ritual changed and she sleeps more at day and is more active at night. So i decided that covering her cage at night would be the best solution. However i am concerned about what material should the cover be and also should i cover the whole cage or leave a little bit of space at the bottom uncovered? Would love to hear your opinions!

I cover the cages using bedsheets (duvet-covers), and I clip them closed with clothes pegs. Obviously the sheets aren´t tight to the cage so air can come in under the fabric.

I use a slightly thicker piece of fabric, kind of like fleece that I know Astro's nails don't get tangled in. That is the most important thing for me. I sometimes leave an opening and sometimes don't.

You can use cheap bed sheets and put it on three sides, and leave the cage a few feet away from the wall for air flow.

I use dark bedsheets.

I have unused flags (not national flags) for Neelu-Peelu and a few pieces of clothing material for Cheeku. All of them are light and breathable though
