A Ruby throated hummingbird at our feeder,
this raccoon walked right up to the back door, apparently the neighbors have been feeding it, we also get wild rabbits and deer in our back yard

Three of my favs. I really like skunks. Our neighbor, when I was growing up, had a pet skunk. It's name was Flower, but everyone just called her Stinky.

Bare necked chicken. My city chickens are not allowed unless you have 5+acres of land. This bare necked chicken show up the other night in the parking lot.

I'm trying to get a chicken rescue for 'Chick Chick'. But of course I have catch her. Hmmm not with my rotten back. Just keep her in your apartment that a no cuz she got I think lice or mites. Plus dreaded HPAI running around here. I did a quick video tonight for rescue. But it may take them days to come get her or she goes with animal control aand taken to PUPS To be held a day or two.

My deck hummingbird feeder was covered with ants this morning so I came up with an emergency DIY ant moat.

'Chick Chick' is now in the hands of local rescue Chicken Run Rescue. We have spent the better part of the herding one chicken. She was wiley as could be but with 3 volunteers we corner her netted her and she will be seeing a vet today.

I got out to the pond again Not a lot going on there today. Mostly just saw ducks and one shy turtle. But the was a mother duck and with three babies, who were surprisingly big now. Still so cute thou.
