Wow! 16yrs I know they can live long lives but still Looking good.
Hi! I have a 1.5 year old male blue fallow parrotlet named Blue Bird. He is honestly one of my best friends and I cannot imagine life without him. We've been together ever since he was first weaned and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is sitting on my arm as I write this. I really enjoy this forum!
I'll attach a picture so that you can see what he looks like!
His red eyes
I'm not sure how it works or what it's called in other parrot species, but with parrotlets the red eyed mutations are called fallow
I'm getting my parrotlet in 3 weeks (she's being hand fed and weaned now, she'll be 8 weeks when I get her.) She's a simple green, has a sweet face. I'm trying on names now but thinking Jade. Any name suggestions are welcome.
I'm birdless right now, but I've had cockatiels, conures, Meyer's, and a brown headed parrot. I can hardly wait!
I've had my new little baby for a week now so I figured I would post on here!!
(And yes, we've had a bit of a name change back to Zeus.... he came into his fierce parrotlet personality already and I couldn't NOT name him that )
