Nope...it was raw. Little Bit and Belle will eat anything. So hopefully she will encourage Sir Gyrphon to broaden his diet All she has to do is see you eat it and she wants it...LOL

Pinks babies are growing. Yesterday I loooked and I saw red and though one was hurt. Since my eyes aren't that great I got the camers to take pix's, and was relieved to see that it was just a bunch of pellets in the chicks crop...whew. In another few days there should be enough feathers on the back of the head to show sex. So far the biggest one looks like a possible female...which I need a little male for a friend.

And Ruby has started another nest.

Thanks Matt and Martine It seems like they change looks by the hour. And now that their eyes are opening the little heads are up like periscopes looking around all the time.

Thanks Krisy...actually they are very sturdy little birds.

Kirby says they are very gregarious with each other and people, and in a small group very family oriented. He is amazed at how smart, curious and out-going they are

Here are Pinks chicks today. I haven't taken them out to look at the head feathering, but looking at the pix's I'm suspecting the bigger one (Probably approx. 12 hours in age older from the littler one) might be a female.

Rubys babies are doing good. I'm noticing that the little female is the cry baby...which was the same with Belle and Little Bit....so it appears that the females are more needy and want to be babies longer, and will be slower to wean. And Belle, whom is 4.5 months old and is suposed to be an older role model is the worst. If she can bum food and cry she will.

Poor Carole...she will be taking home a rotton needy mouser...LOL

Carole...hopefully she won't be a cry baby on the way home. Belle has the corner on that, and the newest little girl.

Little Bits sexing certifricate came on today.

And she LOVES the little grape tomatoes. I split them in half and she eats out the center. And grated carrots too. So you'll have to bring a food dish to fill up for her ride home. She might share with Gryphon.

Carole...all you have to do is eat something in front of her and she has to try it too. She is not picky about anything.

Anne...I think they can out eat Sam...LOL We were just having a Cuban Sandwich for lunch and the beggers had to have part of the roll. I just went to Publix and they finially had some fresh figs in. Belle and Little Bit are chowing down on them..Yay! Now they have to teach the younger ones to eat, not hog all the food.
