YES!!! We could probably plan to see the mousers at Seaworld too. It'll probably be a month or so til these little fledglings are weaned. I can't wait to see the Speckled up close and have some.

The Sapote fruit tastes strange. The weaning brats nibbled on it then looked at me like: 'Wheres my papaya????'

Kristy...Chubs is doing great. I moved the males back with the females and he is courting Boca Brat.

Hey, read Saroj's link Susanne, it explains that your sapote must not have been ripe, hence the astringent effect.

I'll feed and water everyone before I leave. If I am running late I can have my daughter come over after work to top all the mousers of with more fruit.

Late last night I couldn't see the fledglings anywhere in the cage. So I got out the camera with the flash turned on and found them. If you look you will see the little short tails hanging out in the sleeping position with the adults. They think they are big birds now

Thanks Carole and Matt. The fledglings thing they are big birds and are all over exploring the cage when I go to check on them. They grow up so fast.
