I have an question.is conure parrot?or parakeets? Im confused. Any body help me please.thanks

I know.but some difference their diet so i ask . Can conure and cockatial seed mix same or difference?

Parakeet just means parrot with a long tail

Diet wise conures should eat more like larger parrots - meaning not a lot of seeds. Their food should focus on fresh vegetables and pellets. Seeds can be the same as you'd feed a Cockatiel.

Budgies and cockatiels do eat more seeds.

Birds with hooked bills and zygodactyl feet (meaning 4 toes- 2 pointing forward, 2 pointing back) are parrot traits. So yes, conures are parrots.
