She´s started her moult!!!

I was cleaning up around the cages and found two rump feathers at the back in between Jaime / Aldora and Adélies cage. They are not from the parents, and they are floofy as heck! They can only belong to little princess Adélie!

So exciting! She is going to be a stunner.

(She will be 20 weeks old on saturday)

Yea, twice a day.

I had noticed that when I do the night feed, because of the difference in lighting, I could see her brow coming through.
I spoke with my friend a few days ago and she told me that Adelies brothers started their moult about a week ago.

Adding the feathers to your scrap book?.

I have a family tree that I started making when I decided to keep Adelie. My little feather project | Avian Avenue Parrot Forum It only has a couple of feathers from Lapis and Nube because at the time, they had just started their moult. I will add to that... when there´s no more room on it.. I think I will do a frame for each bird. With their name, a picture and some feathers... I´m not quite sure exactly how I will do that, but I will have a see
The only feather I don´t keep are the ones that they destroy. I always check the tray for feathers

The problem is there is a chance it could be from Nube while he was out flying. I got this feather 2 or 3 days ago but I've been doing my best to decypher who dropped it... And I have come to the conclusion that I do not know

I found it on the floor directly under Adès cage, but Nubes favourite hangout is directly above... Sooo.....

It is the supermarkets own brand. In the UK it is sugarpuffs. I'm not sure what US folks have. It's honey puffed wheat cereal.

I hate that they aim it towards kids lol, it makes me feel like I'm a big baby that shouldn't be eating it....
