911 CONURE GOT STEPPED ON

I wasn’t there to see it but my pineapple conure was stepped on by accident. He flew onto the ground behind my dad and he didn’t see the bird there so he got stepped on. I think that one of his wings was stepped on and most likely broken. There’s no avian vet currently open currently and i would have to wait till 9 tomorrow. The bird is currently like in my hands and half falling asleep. I don’t know what to do right now and need help. I don’t know if he could make it through the night till tomorrow. What should i do right now.

Oh no, I'm so sorry you're going through this! Are there ANY emergency vets around you? Any that see cats or small animals even may have an oxygen chamber, etc that can help your little one make it to morning.

Not to my knowledge. All the vets open tomorrow at 9.

If you call their number they should have an ON CALL number to reach out to on their voicemail, or directions on what to do in case of an emergency. I would start dialing

Also if you list your area other members here may be able to help you look for possible vets that may do call outs/ emergency visits.

I can't look...don;t want to know unless its OK...The shuffle has to be the rule whenever a bird is in the house...
