Budgie Gender

Meet Buttercup my lovely new baby budgie. Buttercup arrived yesterday to my home. I assume Buttercup is a girl but now I am a bit doubtful because of the slight purple on the cere although there is white around the nostrils.
Can anyone help? Please excuse the blurry pics I have buttercup in my room and it is a cloudy day. Thank you.

How old? Are you sure budgie is a baby? Looks a little older to me. My first thought if not a baby is male if it is a baby then wait to see cere change color. There is a chart on this link

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. You sure this one’s a baby? By the lines on their head they look a bit older. I’m by no means an expert - but usually the lines on the forehead go all the way to the cere for babies.
