Can you please show me your setup?? I will try to make it more better
I don´t believe Andrea breeds anymore. Howver she did give you some pointers to set you in the right direction:

Your cages are way too small for your birds and are too filthy for them to be living in. Your bowls are sitting on the floor where the birds can poop in them, the perches are completely inadequate for them and you only have but one perch per cage. Truly, this is no way to keep any living creature. If you are only giving them seed to eat then the diet is also inadequate for them to live a long and healthy life.

To recap:
-Purchase larger cages
-Keep the cages clean
-attach the bowls to the sides of the cages so poop does not get on food
-replace dowel with multiple natural branches
-do not stack cages on top of each other
-feed the birds vegetables and some fruit daily, maybe even pellets

I would also like to add to make sure that you keep the nests clean. Put some wood shavings (like for hamster) inside to keep the baby warm and soak up moisture.
Remember to sterilise the syringes after each use, and do not share syringes between different families. You could keep a tin on top of the cage with the syringes for that one family inside.

Is there an update on the other chick?
