Charlie and Emma are at it again. Emma laid her first egg of her second clutch today. I was originally planning on replacing eggs this time right out of the gate, but actually, I think I will let her lay all her eggs again one more time. I am curious to see if she stops right at 7 again. Third go around, I will definitely be using the faux eggs immediately after the first egg comes out. Also, as a note, they appear to be spacing out clutches by about a month and a half. Not ideal, but also doesn't seem too terrible if controlled with faux eggs. Unless someone sees a problem, I think I will continue to leave them together. That doesn't seem too extreme to me in terms of nesting frequency. Any thoughts here?
