They will gather in a bunch inside the half avocados so they should be happy to be able to wiggle into a whole one!
I love it when we have half pumpkins or capsicums to put in and you find them all bundled in there like a tin of spaghetti

Avocado knife throw away and worm weekend special

Well I went to feed the bin...today’s high is 80. Opened the lid...it smells. Is it a problem for the worms? Everything else was as usual. Just that it’s so warm the food is rotting faster than they can eat it. I froze the food I was going to put in. Pizza is covered with white fungus. Made a hole in the avocado.

plan is to not feed them until the surface food is noticeably reduced. And till the smell is gone. Good plan?

Oh! I think we have 5G WiFi?

Most of the wifi routers have both 2.4 and 5ghs streams so you should be ok, just make sure it has both and both are enabled. Mine has both and 2.4 is slower but has better range. Most of my gear can use both but some of the older ones only use 2.4, and the ones that need extra range and don't need the faster speed.

The smell will not bother them at all and generally if there’s any fungus or mould on the food that won’t bother them either. I generally find if it gets a bit smelly that covering it with a thin layer of (damp) paper or cardboard is generally helpful.
