If you think they’re getting too hot in there then you can or put some frozen scraps in. They’ll often move to the edges in the hotter temps to help stay cool as the middle often heats up more than the edges.

They do make some noise when they’re all on the move so if you gave them dry paper you will surely hear it being moved about... when ours is really wet they make goopy sounds as they all race to get out of the light when the lid is opened lol.

Whoa! Look! 1” vents. Secure by bending tabs under lid. Got 6 for starters. So excited for them to get more fresh air. Someone did this with the hungry bin!

Will turn over a couple of inches of worm terrain and add new food tomorrow. Rescued two medium worms from the wet burlap today.
A whole bunch of worms are curled around the avocado.

There were about 25 worms on the dripping walls. I dumped some dry coir in. It’s gotten damp now

@Shezbug should I mix it up? I just dumped it on juggling the flashlight. I sent the work lights back because Rudy would not have left the wires alone. Will they be okay like this till the morning? Link to cam in a second
