He really is hiding! But you can see pieces of him. In the green little box I put in the part I found first. You can see more if you follow where the rest of him should be. I can't quite make out his head though. I assume he has a head

He wasn’t happy my dog was fascinated with him yet again nor was he happy the half blind human easily saw him while he was failing at being sneaky and collecting bugs which are everywhere at the moment.
He tried to hide here amongst my mums pile of crap first but soon realised we could really easily see him so he hissed at us and took off to the overgrown garden

Me too. I love that my dog is fascinated with him but does not touch him even when he is being ugly and hissing lol, I hear of too many others who have not taught their dogs to leave them alone

Our dogs have only come across one, we just promptly removed everyone from the situation.
I find blue tongues and shingle backs so stinking adorable!!

Mum called while she was out on a lesson and asked if I could go assist the local police who were extremely grateful for our assistance. They had no clue what to do and the ranger didn’t want to come help. I only got two pics as I was more concerned about catching and relocating but mum said she got a few.

Yeah sorry bout that- I should have known it would receive a few comments along those lines, it’s a massive big event here that many who eat duck look forward to. He isn’t the sort to waste animal life unlike most that come up from the city for it.

Clearly he was raised right!

We have a baby sparrow (fledging baby) banging into every thing outside the back door, he fell out of his nest (our outside shade blind boxes) a while ago. Hopefully it’ll be safe enough for the night, it’s about 10pm here now.
I also noticed something on the dog bed that was hopping.


I think it’s probably a native frog even though it looks like a toad.

This little lizard is called a Green Anole. He’s not green at the moment because it’s colder here now, and he’s scared because he managed to find his way to my garage!


I hoped to convince him that my garage was not really in his best interest. I didn’t want to scare him by picking him up, so I brought a branch in hoping he would climb on.


And he did!!

So I gingerly carried our hero out to my back yard and placed his branch among the shrubs and trees.
