A water source it bird bath will bring in so many! Place under/near a tree or shrubs so they are protected.

Bird baths out in the middle of an open lawn get less used. I found out from experience...nobody used when it was out in the open. My neighbor has a big nice one right in the middle of his lawn , only mocking birds use it. So I had him hang a little one under a tree, that one he gets to watch birdies bathe in

@April ...if only I had a camera right?;?!

I love the colorful birdbath photos! Are the red flowers with yellow center orchids?

The lighting bugs are here!!! If you live in north East Florida or south East Georgia keep your outdoor lights off,! Give them a chance . Light pollution has led to dwindling numbers.

I took a zillion pictures just to catch this one :).

@Just-passn-thru
Not nearly the same as your glorious moonlight garden.
But maybe just the joy of thinking of lighting bugs

.my blue bird house! A pair i is nesting I'm it! I will get egg pictures later
Several other species of cavity nesters will use, chickadee, tufted titmouse, Carolina wrens, some warblers
It's on a metal pole with carriage bolt. It's a five foot electric conduit pole. Was $10 for the pole $12 for the bird house. I used a metal stovepipe as snake guard less than $10 I'm sure. It's topped with a cut pie e of metal gutter guard. But you can buy a plastic roll of gsuter guard pretty cheap works great .
