I'm really passionate about backyard conservation! ( Sneak into pots for front yard )
Seeing is believing and the amount of butterflies and birds drawn to my yard has really inspired my neighbor to go native or pollinator friendly one neighbor is all in on monarch and milkweed she's upto 25 pots of milkweed in her backyard

Thank you!!
So many hummingbirds!!!!
I love being able to watch everything from my windows

The inspiration for me was wanting to see Summer Tanager . They are wasp and bee specialists and don't eat seeds. After looking for them for 14 years .....so secretive. I decided to bring them to me by planting native and drawing,in their food sources! It worked!! I get to see them all the time and they nest on property now!!

I look through see if I still have their pictures,( lost most everything with phone crash) they aren't back this year yet ...but soon!!

Such an inspiration. I want a natural garden too (it was a bit of a waste dump when we got here) and this is just amazing. That you got lure them to your garden and that they even nest there, wow just so cool and inspirational!

The natives in your area will do well! I don't have to anything other than water when we have droughts

That looks like Canna Tropicanna Black. One of my neighbors used to grow it, but this far north she had to bring it inside each year in the winter.
