I am getting my baby Senegal in 2 weeks. I have been searching endlessly for a cage for over a month and now I need help deciding between these two!

I have included interior dimensions.
36Lx24Wx36H with 3/4 bar spacing or
64Lx21Wx34H with 1/2 bar spacing.

If neither is ideal, I would appreciate some links to other cages ❤

I think the 3/4” is better spacing for a Senegal and personally I like the first option better, with the larger door and playtop.

As far as the flights go, the doubles are spacious but I’ve heard they can be difficult to reach in and set up. But I know lots of people have them.

I think the playtop might be more useful the extra space in the double flight cage is nice but they still can not fly in there. If it was a small bird like my Pip then the double flight would be a better fit for sure.

The food doors are a must in my opinion. You will be cursing when changing water and food with the second one... I use the food doors to reach in and change the perches around too. If I had known better I would have looked for food doors on the front!

Also mark the floor with some tape where your cage is going. Then mime some activity. Enough room for elbows and not an awkward opening direction for your layout. Probably food doors on more than one side would be a good option.

Nice! Theres room for 2 Senegals actually

Also, don’t just add perches, but also look into natural branches! It gives them wood to chew which is good for their beaks, and different sizes to sit on which i good for their feet :)
