I don't want to go home, I was holding him and he had a death grip on my finger, his legs.start3d to curl and he was clocking his beak, I ran outside to get some water, they ran out and said he was crashing, he was gone when I got back. I was hysterical. He will be my last parrot. I can't take the heart break again. He loved Stevie Nick's, Age of 17 he hooted like an owl, said pretty boy, what cha doing. How can I go hone to an empty, quiet house and his cage is there. How do I get through this.

The only way through grief is love. Love makes you vulnerable. I respect your current decision to not have another parrot, but have watched a family member mourn a cat for 20 petless years. It's not a course of action I'd recommend.

I rescued him, I can't afford to buy another parrot and the stress of finding food now a days and an avian vet, couldn't go anywhere cause everyone was afraid to feed him. It's best for right now.
