Lumi was born 3.16.22 and has been with me since 11.16.22. She is a green opaline quaker with a yellow underbelly and some brown spots across her back. She was hand fed by a lady who rescued the parent parrot couple who were originally caught in wild homed and then had to be rehomed to a lady who has about 15 quakers in an avery as original owners were not prepared for them. The lady allows the parrots to decide to breed or not each year. Lumi has been adjusting well and her wings are growing back from being clipped for her new environment. She is very curious and sweet. I can not wait to watch her continue to grow into herself.

Yes looks like some mild stress bars on feathers . But with such a healthy diet and lifestyle when she molt in new feathers they will be gone.

Cant wait to see her grow up snd into herself too

Stress bars are fairly common in babies- I doubt baby squabbling would have caused it, more likely the odd food or temp issues which is the case for most babies.

Possibly! In Pudge’s case, I think his might have come from being forced to be weaned too early. I’m pretty sure his will also moult out. We’ll have to compare pics when we each go through it!

It is also winter here and snowy, temp here is definitely not best. I did switch her diet here to harrisons and then whatever veggies I have on hand. So far she will try anything I give her in month shes been with me. She is moulting currently and new feathers sprouting in everyday.
