My bird hitting her bell

I've noticed that when my bird plays with her bell she plays with it rather aggressively, is that normal? She will slam her beak into it and it seems like she's almost attacking it. It looks like she keeps going back and forth from playing with it to fighting with it.

My grey has a particular bell he beats up on a lot. Then he has another bell with which he is all lovey- dovey.

Our budgies are quite rough with bells. They've knocked them to the cage floor and then kept chasing and throwing them around the cage!

My cockatiel used to beat his bell to within an inch ot its life and the wear it proudly on his head like a hat!

Some of my birds are gentle with their bells and some are very rough with them.

Melon fights all the bells she can find in her cage it's hilarious because she complains while fighting with the bells too!

Pipsqueak is on and off, like, there are days where he's playing with it like how i would imagine a bird playing with a bell (if that is even ever a thing LMAO) and days where he plays rough

Twilight and Cappuccino take all of their aggressions out on the bells in their cage. Better the bells than me I suppose!

My husband and I joke that we can't tell if the birds hate their bells or love them, but either way it's good exercise!
