I've decided minky's birthday is on the 7th of July because he was pretty young when I first got him (28th of July)

he's been grumpy as he's going through his moult before winter but this morning he's been super sweet and gentle I'm thinking about getting him a friend but I can't really find any other lorikeets for sale or adoption. are there any types of birds he might get along with? I wouldn't put them in the same cage or anything

I've only been taking him out usually 2 or 3 hours a day now but the sun is setting earlier (around 5:20) so he goes to sleep sooner. I got him some new toys too because he ripped the bell off one of them and it was getting a bit faded and gross. he's been talking so much! he says hello baby, pretty boy, whatcha doing, I love you, and a bunch of other stuff I can't quite understand.

he's being a bit of a little trouble maker lately haha. he's been biting more but I think its because he was just moulting and possibly still is moulting. luckily he doesn't bite me hard but he bit my mum to the point of drawing blood.. ouch. I still love him though, just gotta try to train him i think

say hello to Minky's new friend!! her name is Elvis but I might change it. she's quite an old girl, 15 years old, but her owner could no longer keep her and gave her to me ! ill be keeping her away from minky just in case she's sick but he did get a glimpse of her! she's super sweet and I think minky will get along great with her!

she's a sweetheart! I think her wings mightve been clipped so her feathers will start growing back in and she's got a lot of pin feathers on her face that I'll have to help her with but she's very active and playful considering her age!!
