IMG_3565.jpeg IMG_3572.jpeg IMG_3566.jpeg I can’t seem do figure out what mutation he might be? He’s only 1 month so I know his “true mutation” will come out when he goes through his first molt but can any of you guys guess what mutation he might be? I’m guessing orange face and maybe pied (considering his tail feathers) but I might be wrong

Thank you so much! Yea I wasn’t sure about the pied bc of the tail it has this beautiful yellow ish color together with the blueish green

also if you can do you also know the mutation of his sibling i thought it might be a dark factor green (or olive as some call it ) but he may as well also be just a normal wild type

It is just part of that mutation. The reduction in pigments will affect pigment all over the bird so created different coloured tails, rumps, flights, faces etc

The colours of the lovebirds are all extremely beautiful and vibrant, like the blue on the rump of that wild type bird of yours will shine bright, especially in the sun those feathers will look incredible :)
