New here and apologies for asking in advance.
I found a budgie flying around my house, for four or five days I tried to get him, and today I finally coaxed him into a cage. On the first or second day I noticed a spot on his lower back(?) above his tail has exposed feathers as in you see the pins where they start. I've never seen it in any budgie I owned.
Now, today before I caught him, I saw his longest tail feather came off possibly overnight and of course that's concerning. I'm curious if anyone thinks it may be possibly from being out in the wild and developing an infection of some sort, scrapping with bird, or worse cases like PBFD and French molt. Everywhere else he looks perfectly fine and flies perfectly. I tried to get a good pic. He's not aggressive or anything and has been in a decent mood as I've observed.
