I just saw all this. Glad you did get her back. I know how heart breaking it is to see a parrot fly off from you. I know it was heart wrenching on you and the only thing is, I'd like to know what are you going to do to prevent it from happening again?

All the more reason to work with your birds to have them be very socialized with People. I step mine up to People who come into my home, Friends you name it. Mine won't bite who they don't know, but they will go willingly to someone if I step them up onto someone.

She knew to go to someone, she knew that she would be safe. What a good Girl! :heart:

I posted in the other thread regarding my feelings .. I'm still at work, but now sitting down after a long day have a glass of wine, sending out a mental "Cheers" to Saemma and Emma.

I know after all the stress and worry of the last few days, I need a drink .... Saemma, you must need several!! :lol:

Maybe Emma can be the soccer team's mascot. Saemma maybe sometime you could bring Emma over to one of their games in her Adventure Pack :)

Thank you so much. :hug8:I've already started.:hug8: She definitely must have lost alot of weight but I can't see anything because of her plumpy feathering.:p

I have to admit, I am metric challenged and when I converted 6km to miles...I was shocked that she was almost 4 miles away..:(

So much good came out of this scary event..something good always comes when people come together in love :heart: Emma is one special bird.
