Hi, I live in a very large house in an isolated downstairs room. I am very cautious about any potential dangers and toxins. I was wondering about cleaning products. If someone upstairs uses bleach, I would probably only smell it if it is near the staircase located near my room entrance. Can someone give insights about how to well seal my door to these odors? I have amazing air purifiers and can open windows or take the bird outdoors at times but it would be great to know more data about how the smell/toxins might travel? Thank you! It makes me wonder about apartment living (not my situation and not planning on it but have in the past with no issue) - what if an adjacent apartment uses super harsh chemicals or burns something containing Teflon? I may in the future be living out of a guest house adjoined to another home so even though we are “separate” I want to make sure I know my bird is safe.
