Urgent Cockatiel bloody nose

My 2 year old cockatiel just sneezed and some blood came out. I immediately called my vet but they can't see her until a week from now. I still made the appointment but in the meantime I'm so scared for her and I don't know what to do. She's still eating and drinking and it might just be because it has gotten dry where I live recently. I turned on a humidifier but is there anything else I can do to help her until she can go to the vet?
I'm also trying to keep her from scratching her nose any but I can't be around all the time
