Black poop and bird not being able to walk. (sad update #4)

Hello, I’m so worried. I woke up this morning to my peach face lovebird not being able to stand up straight, walk or keep his eyes open. I’m wondering is anyone else has had anything like this happen to their birds?? I’ve also noticed that his poop is extremely dark (black).

Is your vet open today? Please call and get your bird seen today. Black poop, loss of balance and ability to walk are all signs there´s a serious problem.
If your vet is closed, seek an emergency clinic.

Black, tarry poo is a sign that there is bleeding towards the beginning of the digestive system. This is an emergency because your bird is losing blood. You must get your bird seen by a vet as soon as possible - either your usual vet or by an emergency vet.

thank you for your quick response... I was able to find a vet who was open on a Saturday.. my baby didn’t make it... they tried CPR... it was too late for him. I’m heartbroken..
