Are lovebird chicks active?

Thanks, all! I was sad to see the two pass, but the other three are doing great! Growing more and more each day! Driving a few hours to pick up a future mate for one of the babies. It's a 2 year old female cream colored gal. Haven't looked up the actual color yet.

They are little sweeties! For first time parents, mom and dad are doing really well. I'm glad the babies are at the stage where I can handle them more. They love nestling up into my hands, but aren't a fan of my dog nosing up to them. Lol

Haha. They are cute. The babies think human hands are their 3rd parent. They're starting to climb around, perch, and fly (in the case of the oldest, when my dog nosed him).

They are super cute. Just a general note though; it is best to keep pups and birds separate at all times. It only takes one accident for things to go bad, and unfortunately it is completely unpredictable.

Yes, and people seem to just think the pup could injure the bird so rely on temperament or training but a bird beak on a dog's nose can do a lot of damage to the poor pup.
