Also if your internet connection is really slow of course it takes forever to upload a small video, plus most plans are much slower at uploads than downloads.

Its ATT & its the slowest possible for wifi...

Down load 3.25 Mbps (usually 1)
Up load .45 Mbps

Uploading another vid...check back in about an hour...lol

Its really bad!!!! Still its cheap!

Rio & Penny look good together...There colors compliment each other...

My Comcast account is pretty sure at least 50 down and maybe 10 up, probably faster as they try to keep up with everyone else but I also pay for it. I have their better triple play plan and with a discount but all of the extra fees and taxes I'm still at 180 a month. My wifi is connected on this tablet to 5ghz and is 400 meg down. If your plan is dirt cheap that is why it's so slow to up or down anything. If you want to go fast it's going to cost you and maybe you just don't have the budget to waste on fast net.

She seems to be such a happy bird and not upset much at all by the move. It's great that she is comfortable. She is beautiful and has a wonderful laugh and whistle. She really does look a lot younger than the age they told you she was.

Penny was scary day 1...She'd come at me when I tried to change her food water bowls...She'd hiss...



I won her over though!...

Some of her whistles are so nice they sound like a canary but a huge canary!!!

Nerd never looked old, he was just Nerd and continued to do Nerd things right to the end. He didn't have any clue how old he was and was just happy to be a part of the family and my friend. He made it to 31 and was doing great till he finally got sick at the very end. I bet he would have gotten a few more years easy if we picked up on he being truly sick faster. I bet she'll soldier on quite a few more years as long as she's happy, fed well, and has love and things to occupy her, and she's certainly happy now.

Healthy birds don't look old. An old bird in good health looks like a bird in its prime. No teeth to wear down. Feathers, nails, grow & replace themselves...Birds are amazing creatures.

I ordered 100 calculator paper rolls for her to work her magic on & 900 foot of white butcher paper in her cage size...

I shop walmart as they will deliver free. They have various widths. I got 24 in for depth of cage & will cut off sheets in length.Goes up to 36 inch. Its thick no print & actually affordable.

I got this for $13.69...14 cents a roll!!! I thought it was too cheap for 100 rolls but they honored it.
Now its $21...which is not bad!

She does not seem to mind...

I think she likes it!!! Been hearing alot of ringing!!!

AS Square dance finally gets some action...

Penny discovered her cozy corner basswood platform perch too...It a private place she might like to nap



Flagstone will replace the wire...

Got rid of the old ropes ...oooh more bells///lol

She has not been using it to sleep by anymore & she had to duck under it when she walked across the center perch & gives the center more room...



Added the flagstone on top of the wire platform as it held it up while I went in back & secured it...For now this is safer...

I'm glad she's taking to it all so quickly and loving it! Sweet bird probably thinks she's in wonderland! She's probably adjusting better because you were so patient with her. (So hard to do!)

Penny's waiting on those palm nuts...

So far all the goodies are rolling in.

Setting up the cage as I think she will enjoy & its safe.

The roudybush is not a real big hit,
The tops..hmmm hope she will enjoy that but so far no real love.
Just got harrisons power treats. Did not really notice them yet but it would be good as they have palm oil.

Walmart made an error so now I have 2 rolls of butcher paper which is a good thing as she makes alot of carrot salad & it piles up quickly.

She had a bit of oatmeal & scrambled egg this morning. Loves her ice & cardboard.

She likes pumpkin seeds & will pick those out first with of course almonds.

She's got a good stable temperament & does not seem to worry much when I go inside the cage to decorate but I try to be very slow & careful.

Love to snack on a small nibble of organic blue corn chip with sprouted quinoa & amaranth.
She'll take that & a piece of scrambled egg from my fingers...

She's still a quiet bird & mostly does soft chirps with some whistles & laughs.
I do hope she stays like that as my nerves can't take excessive screamers.

Hoping the honeymoon never ends!!!
