That orange ground snake is GORGEOUS... are they by any chance related to ring necks? They are also tiny and appear the same in body but have a black body, orange underside and a notorious orange ring around the neck.

@atomicfriday I dont know. 
This snake was VERY tiny. I painter tape at the threshold to seal my glass front doorway from critters and dust. I found a tiny black and orange striped snake stuck on the painter tape. I think he was also a ground snake. I think they come in a lot of colors and varieties.

They really are! The rare occasion I see one I will catch it, they are very friendly in snake terms.
