how long has it been since you used them?

Probably not. That's another thing I didn't like about my King's european cage, you couldn't remove the bowl rings. I only use two of the built in bowls in each cage, the others I could remove but I end up cleaning poop off the unused rings in Fenway's.

It depends, Do you need this? Or is it a "Sarojism" and you would like it? ;)

If you only use one SS bowl then why get more than one? I like having the Lixits to be able to move around and change up the cage a bit.

can you remove the bowl rings in your new nw?
p.s. i read always to keep a bowl in the ring or they can fall through (accidentally or nightfright) and break a leg

you're right Chris.:D
I think though i will have him put three food doors in and only one will have a ring. The other two are for reaching in to put in perches and stuff.

No, they're welded on like the european. I thought about getting 4 but decided on 2 because I didn't like having the rings there unused.

Yikes, never heard that before. Fenway actually likes to play with them though, she's always climbing through one of them and hanging from it.

I always preferred my own bowls though, and the ability to place them where I wanted.

If you have a picture handy of this removable ring style I'd love to see it :). The removable system they use in my Avian Adventures cages isn't very good

All of my current cages are King's. The European are permanent, the economy cages have removable rings. There may be Euros with removable rings but unfortunately not in mine, wish they were then I'd have less rust in my cage.
