they're doing so well!!! Cute, love those fast feet!

and each caique picked a basket and stuck with it. JoJo always dunked in the left hoop, Chickie in the right hoop! Curious to see if they repeat this pattern tomorrow!

basketball this morning degenerated into a fighting match with JoJo being the aggressor. He ate his treats on the run and kept grabbing the ball out of Chickie's beak and harassing her. He also bit me hard, no blood, when I went to take the ball out of the basket to reposition it!! Brat! Next session I have a spray bottle handy if he beats up on Chickie, but that might be the end of the game. Anyway initially they are going to train separately and own their basket so they don't get treated until they've run it over to their special basket. No treats for wrong basket dunking. I think they'll catch on quickly.

Ok don't give him any for a day. Chop them into small pieces and use for training only. Is he clicker trained to associate click with reward?

He will spin around and shake my finger. Also go to his perch when I tap the perch and show him the treat.

He came to the table and sat next to the ball.
I clickered as I gave him a treat.
We did that twice today.

JoJo and Chickie had individual sessions today. They each had two baskets but only got rewarded for the correct one. Went well. Had some self corrections.

lol! thanks Sarah! I'm getting the zoomax puzzle on monday! I think JoJo will learn the circle quickly. Chickie too. Today Chickie tried to put a ring toss ring into the basketball hoop! Then she turned around and dropped it on the peg. Teaching her two colors now. She still won't get on the skates though.

Thanks. Yes the medium. I have one in storage somewhere but no idea where so I ordered another which got lost in the mail so I ordered another which arrives Monday.
No one in clicking so far....
