Hi, welcome to the forum.
We need some more details, for people to be able to share thoughts.

Is this a love bird? How old ? How long have you had the bird? Do you have more than one bird?

Thanks . I'm sure our love bird folks will have some ideas.

The feathers also look a little disheveled.
What's your birdie eating?

Any veggies?
You might introduce some , especially yellow and orange bell pepper, cooked sweet potato, cooked carrots, a small piece of mango a couple of times a week . These foods are a good source if vitamin A, and support health . Getting these from natural sources and food . Do not use supplements.

As far as missing feathers on head , I prefer to see what love bird folks have to say . You might have to wait till tomorrow to have more replies. It's late here in USA , tho many members are global

If your bird lives with another bird then it is likely being plucked.

Hi I would agree with @Shezbug chances are other lovebirds plucking his feathers as he won’t be able to reach is head do they share a cage ?
if they do separate them you can have cages side by side but I would
Supervise their interactions
His feathers could look like that due to stress too if others bully him plucking him not letting him eat drink etc
Hopefully separation will help him look better soon

I think this too.

Another possibility, PBFD. Chicks grow up and get a nice plumage, and then it goes all tatty and bald patches appear before eventually losing all of their feathers.

If you haven't had any wellness check for this little one, take them in for a wellness check and get them tested - it is always recommended for all new birds to see the vet. Might as well test for Polyoma while you are there.
