Would anyone happen to know if a sun or a jenday is more "likely" to be one sex or the other? Or is there any way to tell the difference?

The Jenday I'm fostering can make a ungodly screech that rattles our skulls, the Blue Crowned is almost as bad and she goes off every time she sees us eating or one of us gets home. She is also quite good at hanging on the side of her cage and projectile pooping. Pippen has her moments but most of the time her screams just aren't as loud and jolting. Poor Dobby just sits there like what are you yahoos on about now though occasionally he joins in with the Pionus KACK KACK KACK!!!

Yeah, I think the one that's making my teeth rattle is the jenday. She (total guess, she just strikes me as a female) is like a metal pick to the frontal lobe. The sun is also loud and piercing, but he's not nearly as bad. I feel like my vision vibrates every time the jenday goes off though!

Not super great photos, they're pretty skittish still. They're eating and drinking really well though, they jumped right on the Roudybush pellets I give Isadora, and I mixed in some of Tteok's fruity smelling pellets (forgot the name, smells like bubble gum, does not taste like bubble gum). They just throw that stuff though.

I don't know how much my observations are worth yet :roflmao:

Day One: They shoot poop, and can get some decent distance on it. Also, the sounds may make your eyes bleed.

Loudest i clocked my 2 on a db meter was 122, Guiness book of records says loudest rock gig was Deep Purple 1972 117 db..

I have clocked my two at 122 db its not the noise that hurts its the pitch..
I am trying to work out a way i can try and measure there pitch and bird vocal range.
