Have you got a basement you could keep your birds in when it’s really hot? I considered that when living in that baking attic. Also considered sleeping in that basement on a cot.

sorry for not updating guys, the budgies are okay. the new ac was installed and everything is ok. i figured i would come back and update since there has been no problems in the weeks since. sorry for not getting back to you all sooner, i've been busy :(
