Good idea! My birds all start calling when they hear the tortilla bag open and if Tequila is out of his cage will fly into the kitchen.

ADVENTURE IS OVER AND BIRDIE IS BACK IN THE CAGE SAFE AND SOUND! Hubby is not too happy. But everyone is safe and sound!

Banjo did this about a year ago. She was in the top of a Poplar tree, so hubby just shook it and she lost her balance and flew down.

Fiddle was in a Pine tree so it wasn't shakeable!

Update on the rescue. DH started playing with his phone. Apparently Fiddle likes his phone, so DH coaxed him over with the phone, THEN the pretend banana.

Dh took pics with his cell phone. When we figure out how to get them off the phone, I'll post some. Guess he loved peeling the bark and playing with the pine needles. Silly bird!
