I think they are both perfect for you and Roger. Platform perches - would your vet recommend them or does she need to grip a perch?

They have one flat perch she hasn't found yet. I'm going to look into getting her a large shelf platform. If she tames quick enough I can give some physio. Exercises involving her legs are good right now. I've been told to treat her as a normal bird, and I can see she has the determination to get to where she wants. We'll see what time brings us.
I've been thinking about the names. They're too similar for a bird to associate and even I'm getting mixed up. I have a few names on the list but I want suggestions from you guys.

I used Skye for a female budgie I had a while ago.

Skye
It's a unisex name. It was popular during the Civil War era in the south. Then it was used more for boys than for girls. Although it's origin is the Isle of Skye in Scotland, it means "sheltering".

I see no harm using it again in this case.
