My name is Andrew Robinson. I'm an engineer and physicist from Raleigh NC and considering diving into this world. I'm still doing my research and trying to decide if this lifestyle is right for me. I'm a young single guy with no other pets or children and I have a reasonable amount of time to spend with a new feathered friend. I work from home several days a week and usually work from home/am on call over weekends too, so I feel I can dedicate quite a bit of attention, however, I am getting a little scared off by some of the horror stories haha. I currently live in a house, but I am considering moving to a town home. I am interested in getting a single Black headed Caique. I look forward to hearing back from everyone and getting some opinions. Thanks everyone!

As Wendy Said you should volunteer at a parrot rescue center.
