Hello everyone, this is my first post here
So last night I noticed that my budgie's nail fell off, I can't tell if it fell off completely or if a piece of it is still there.
Ruby has been in her cage doing nothing out of the ordinary.
She can sill move, fly & even use her toe to rub her face normally. She doesn't seem to be in any pain.
However I'm very worried about her
What do I do?
Will her nail grow back?

Best take her to the vet to get it looked at to assess how much damage has been done and figure out why/how this happened.
They will be able to tell you what their thoughts are on regrowth.
If you have the nail, take it with you.

If she is bleeding or bleeds in the meantime, press some (quikstop) or cornflour onto the nail to help it clot.

My concern would be if the skin is open anywhere under the nail it would be a site for possible infection. Just like a human nail would fall off. There may also be an aspect of some pain for a while. Zara's suggestion of a vet visit is a good one. If for no other reason then to take the worry away.
