Hi!
mom looking for reputable Parrot Breeders who ship across Canada(open to out of country breeders). I’ve tried looking online but most seem sketchy and I don’t trust it.
mostly interested in baby/young African Greys and Cockatoos. Thanks for any and all help!

I would not be looking out of Canada; most of them will be scams due to the import requirements.

I added location to your title to hopefully help you get more answers!

Yes, as said, an out of country breeders is likely a scam because of import/export laws. I would also suggest looking into a rescue. There are so many parrots, especially cockatoos in need of a good home. I actually know of at least one rescue that isn't accepting any more cockatoos because they are at capacity and can't adopt them out.

I’d check out Parrot Partners! They’re a rescue & currently have two cockatoos. One cockatoo is 60 years old & in fine feather (I’d bet wild caught). He’s gorgeous!

Babies are notorious for rejecting you at puberty, so people think they’re in the clear while forgetting that parrot puberty happens years later for larger species.

If you’re worried about tameness, my most tame bird came as a fully mature adult.

Not sure where to find a responsible breeder here, but do keep your options open!
