My husband and I have 10 birds in all.. 6 grown birds and 4 babies. And now were planning to move about two hours away in the Spring time @ April.. Any tips on what to do and not to do? by the time we move the babies will be weaned hopefully, and no longer babies

Most birds do fine with short trips and should be ok.
One thing I would do is remove the nest boxes immediately once these babies are out. You don't want to risk them laying more eggs and having to worry about eggs or tiny babies during a move.
If the cages are large (like large enough to fly in), it will be safer to move them in small travel cages. You can start getting them used to the smaller travel cages before the trip by securing the door open and placing millet or other treats inside. Just leave them out for the birds to investigate on their own at first.
