I am straight up in love with this dog lol. Someone taught him well or he is just super smart. We walked through a flock of pigeons today and he didn't even react. Hasn't chewed anything he isn't supposed to, and VERY gentle with the kids. He is slowly warming up. It feels like he has been waiting for us to send him back, like he isn't letting himself get used to us. But slowly there are glimmers.

He seems to be! He got an intake exam Wednesday when he was transferred to the new shelter, and some basic shots and care, as well as a neuter. I'll be taking him to my own vet soon to get him on the books and get preventatives started he's a little underweight, but we'll get him there

Right now the challenge is finding him an edible chew that lasts more than 2 minutes lol

I think I’ve mentioned this elsewhere, but my dog does great with water buffalo horns. They don’t carry the same tooth breaking risk as antler and other super-hard chews but they still last plenty long. That’s a good looking and clearly SO sweet dog, I hope he integrates easily and happily into your family and routine

Mathias and him playing earlier. He's so gentle with the kids. Mathias loves throwing balls, and Luke loves catching them, but he's on reduced activity while he heals from surgery.



He crawled into bed next to me this morning and found himself wearing a baby on his head. He just stayed there lol

He's huge but a gentle giant. Maybe some mastiff or great dane or something big in him.
