Yeah he's young. I usually get my babies when they are less feathers. Usually about 3 to 4 weeks old.
Ive raised quakers, macaws , cockatiels, Indian ringnecks. And sun conures.
This is my first love bird at this age.
At first he was giving me issues with feedings. Refusing formula. But i dull managed to get him to eat little by little.
He's doing very well. He's eating and also picking at millet spray and crushed bird food. He doesn't care to much for mushy bby foods. I've tried oatmeal, carrots shredded, and recentlt some small bits of blue beerry or apple. He ignores it.
His weight is relatively steady. He hasnt dropped any since i got him. However I'm expecting a bit more weight loss at some point due to his constant flapping and getting ready to lose weight to fly. But right now he's fine.
I had him checked by a vet that i used to work with back at the zoo. And he's in good health.
