Looking for good treats for budgies

So, I'm currently training my little budgie Twiggy to step up and step down so I can get her out of the cage. I'm currently using millet bits as treats because I can pick out if I would want to give her a smaller one or a bigger one, depending on how much I'm training her at that point in time.

I also have Nutriberries, but I don't use them as often. I also used to have these mango and papaya treats, but I haven't gotten them in a while.

I want to have more of a variety of treats, but am not sure what specifically to use. I heard that apple was good as well, but Twiggy doesn't like it when I try to give it to her by hand.

You could try to give your budgie some chopped up carrots or broccoli bits, or other budgie-safe vegetables and fruits. Once you find one (or multiple) that she enjoys you can start using it for treats alongside with some tasty millet, just be sure that they are chopped up enough for her to eat. Good luck on training her!

The only treat my Chirp gets is millet. I just buy the sprays and strip it off the stem into a glass mason jar.

He won't even try almonds or any other nut, he's scared of popcorn, doesn't like nutriberries. You could try avicakes, maybe he'd like them?

Most of my birds will try plain pasta or rice? As long as it's a healthier variety, a very tiny piece of pasta or a grain of cooked rice here or there should be okay?
