This evening, Milton and I were dining on leftover spaghetti...one of his favorites..


Milton: (while eating) "I LOVE IT"...

Me: OK, here's some more...

After we got done...

Me:No more, Bird...

Milton: "WANT MORE NOW!"

Kathy gave him dinner...I wonder what spaghetti and sweet potatoes taste like?

When Milton came out this morning, he immediately dove under my sheet...beside my right hip.
Since I was talking to Francine, my caregiver, I didn't give it too much thought...I should have.
Milton: (laughing evilly) "I LIKE IT"...
Ifelt something...but due to my loss of feeling in my legs, I didn't know what was going on. When a pulled the sheet off, there was Milton...right beside a breamd new hole in my underwater...the size of a golf ball.
Me: Go back to your cage Milton...(to Francine) I guess these are shot...
Francine: " Did you put a hole in there, Milton?


Milton: ( nodding head ) " YEAH I DID!

Milton went out to the pet shop to have his nails trimmed just now. It was hard on us both...he was shaking as I put him in his travel cage...and I waited until after Kathy, my brother, and Milty left.
Now, here I am, lying in bed...all alone...with my thoughts.
They'll be back soon...the house is solo quiet right now...

I hate that we can't tell them, "I promise, this is nothing bad." But, at least when he gets back home he can tell you all about it.

Milty has returned!
I'm happy to say that neither of us are hurt by the whole situation.
Milt is in a very happy mood now...after a piece of cheese....and several minutes of phonebook ripping and scritches from Dad.
Now, he wants "WET" ...which he shall have...immediately!

I've been talking to Milt about moving to Colorado Springs...

As you know, I want to go to Craig Hospital for my PT.
I have been getting some rather surprising (and disheartening) negativity about that choice lately...so I've begun making other plans.
Tonight, Milton and I were watching a YouTube video....entitled "I AM CRAIG"... after which, this happened...

Milton: (turning towards me)
"I CRAIG!"

If THAT isn't a sign...what is?
