Please, please, please, do a Milton, Bob, and Maddy comic book. I would buy copies even for the relatives who don't like birds (goes without saying that I'd buy them for the friends who do as well).
I believe everyone here would buy copies! I would be insulted if I couldn't buy those!!

Milton is writing a book. ( it's hard for him to type with claws)
Oh yes...Maddy has agreed to help with illustrating with his book... ;)

I've only been reading them the last few months [once I realized how site worked-- took me awhile for this old lady]... But I love them--- ESPECIALLY since we have an Umbrella baby [mentality, not age] too! ...

I know I haven't been posting a lot of things about Milton, and my sincerest apologies for that! I've been busy with medical issues which have consumed most of my time.
But, no worries Milton is doing fine...and as sassy as ever!
He is enjoying life...flirting with his caregivers, wring his book, and continuing to drive Dad absolutely nuts!
So please, hang in there...things are getting better...all the time!

Those of us who've had serious medical issues know that it consumes much of your mental focus. Keep concentrating on your healing and well being and we'll try to be patient as we wait for the next Milton fix!

When I was preening his high potentate today ...
Me: "There's a little sticky that you've been after too much, Bird...you'll start to bleed"...

Potentate: " OK...NO BLEED BIRD!"

He hasn't picked at it since... :)

I have been trying to do something with Milton I normally don't do teach him a new word. I have been saying his name- Milt- instead of calling him Bird.
This morning...
Milton: (when he came over to me) "HI...I MILT...I PRETTY PRETTY BIRD...YOU DAD"...

I am so proud of him... :)

Today, when I got Milton out of his cage , he reacted differently than he usually does...
Milton:(walking slowly- sideways- up to my eye)
"you hurt"....

Me: I know...

Milton: "bye"...

He then walked over to my hand...and I put him back on his cage...where he stayed for an hour...just looking at me...with a kinda sad look on his face...

All birds are that way to an extent as flock creatures. Nerd knew when either of us were REALLY hurting and would just sit quietly by us keeping an eye on us and not doing anything else. I think all the Maxis I've had are like that.

Awww Fred definitely knows how we're all feeling and knows when something is wrong. He's usually very quiet and will come if we want him to. He's a doll they're so caring. He probably thought it better to let you be for that day.
