"Non-bird" find this behavior unbelievable.
The fact is, that last week, when I told personnel about Milton, they labeled me as "delusional"...and put me in the psych ward...for six hours.
Then they pushed me out across the street...and left me on the corner...AT MIDNIGHT.
Is there any wonder I'm getting the hell out of Erie PA?
(Note to mods...this above incident happened 8/10/21...)

Milton: (softly) "hi"...

Me: Hi Bird...how are you?

Milton: (again softly)..." I good"...

My two parrots used to sleep on a perch at the end of the bed... Is that where Cassie sleeps?

There's been delays in the whole situation...which isn't doing me any good, physically or mentally.
I'm ...but more determined to get the help I need!

Ugh I'm so sorry. Everything takes forever, and it's worse now than it ever used to be.

Milton uses Cassie's cage...she flew up to the Bridge in 2011...she is my heart bird...and always will be!

WOW... 10 years ago... Sometimes life seems to go so fast.... or so slow. Just try to stay on the up-side of things!

That's always a struggle! Being on the receiving end of an emotionally abusive marriage does not help. It has led to depression and worse...but I move on!

Wife:...ah,someone's walking around...

Milton was trying to climb up her leg.

Me: Get back over here NOW, Bird!

Milton: "OK"....

Slowly Milty made his way over...not fast enough for me...

Me: Why don't you RUN!

Milt ran back over to my foot, climbed up to my shoulder, peeked into my eyes...

Milton: (softly) " hi...wanna wet now please"...

I got him good...

I've been hospitalized for a week now, and I want Milton to visit
I was informed that an Emotional Service Animal was not allowed to visit me
I said fine, I will go outside on the sidewalk to visit him.
I was told I wasn't allowed to do that...I was a patient.
Then I was told that I'm "not a prisoner"... and I could "chat" with him if I wanted.
Then the woman wished me a good weekend...and left.
If any of you are interested, I'm in Room 6219 of St. Vincent Hospital...in Erie PA...

I wonder if she was in the hospital and wasn't allowed visitors...she could see them or talk to them on the phone?

Don't you just love it, when [if you can see them] they raise their crest or turn their head... cause they KNOW it's you talking!!!

I always say that Erie has a "big city" attitude...with small town minds!
Whenever I mention that to an Erie native, (and say I'm putting it in my book) they laugh nervously...and run away.
It takes real heroism to RUN away from a parapalegic!

....the official stated reason I'm here is, "Unable to care for himself".
That is my DIAGNOSIS.
I haven't found a " medical" explanation of that...yet.
You all can make your own minds on what it means...and should it be a medical diagnosis in the first place?
If so, how does a hospital TREAT it?
